The FA are pleased to announce that the new Advanced Fixture Scheduler has now been launched, after a month of testing by a number of leagues (many thanks to all of those involved).

The New Advanced Fixture Scheduler has been designed to replace the previous version of the Advanced Fixture Scheduler, but we haven’t deleted the old scheduler in case some leagues want to continue using it – however, we do think everyone will find that the new scheduler works better for them, and it is worth taking the time to set it up, and see how it works for your league.

A key element of the New Advanced Scheduler is its functionality with regard to re-arrangements, and postponed fixtures – the old scheduler left much to be desired in this area, and the New Advanced Scheduler has been specifically designed to overcome these flaws.

The New Advanced Fixture Scheduler is a lot more sophisticated than the other scheduling options offered by Full-Time. It allows for venue sharing between divisions, and allows for individual timeslots to be set up for divisions, teams and venues. It allows a league to run more than one schedule (e.g. a youth league may want separate schedules for Saturday AM, Saturday PM and Sunday AM) and allows a league to specify that certain fixtures can or cannot be played on certain date(s).

A draft (beta) version of a new user guide, covering the new scheduling options is included as an attachment to this notice.
